As residents of Douglasville for over 18 years,
my family and I have watched Douglas County grow into a large community. During this time, I have volunteered my services
for the Halloween Midnight Run, the Greystone Annual Meeting, the Greystone In-House Health Fair, Bossum Buddies, City of
Douglasville Employee Health Fair, Partners in Education, and Kick’s 101.5 St. Judes
Radio-athon.
Upon completing extensive Professional Massage
Therapy Training in 2003, I have had the privilege of serving many different clients which continues to inspire me to be an
instrument to better health.
Through continuing education, I have greatly increased
my qualifications as a Therapist to better serve Douglas County and its neighboring communities.

My family and I have lived in Douglasville for
4 years and have grown increasingly fond of our community. Raised in rural Georgia,
I came to know at an early age the benefits of having a close knit community.
I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 3
years and each day brings me a greater joy. I’ve always loved helping people,
and I’ve been told I have healing hands. With that in my heart, I started
massage school at Rising Spirit Institute of Natural Health in Atlanta, GA.
Upon graduation, I embarked on my career and look
back now with only happiness. My goal is to massage the rest of my days and to
learn something new with each client.
In
September of 2007, I went to Hawai’i to learn Traditional Lomi Lomi. This
amazing massage therapy helps link your body with the flow and healing of the ocean.
As my career continues in massage, I look forward
to a path of perpetual learning so that I can better help the people I work on. I
believe that our intent heals as much as our hands and I am honored to be able to do that for my clients.
I am currently working on my Doula Certification,
which will enable me to help pregnant women and their children have healthy, loving experiences before, during, and after
child birth. As they have learned in premature infants, the healing ability of
touch travels with us throughout our lives.
During the month of October, $10 of every massage
I give is donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
